Gift Cards Terms and Conditions


You and any person who uses a Gift Card agree to be bound by these terms.

The Gift Card

The Gift Card is a payment tool for use as follows:

Physical Gift Cards can be redeemed on our American Website or in store at any Prowess Design United States concept store. They cannot be purchased or redeemed in Prowess Design concession store locations in MYER and David Jones.

Gift Cards can be redeemed in full, or can be used in part amounts until the Gift Card balance reaches zero. If a transaction exceeds the remaining balance on a Gift Card, you must pay the difference directly to the Prowess Design store or Prowess Design online store using alternative means of payment acceptable to the Prowess Design store at the time of purchase.

You cannot:

Load additional credit onto a Gift Card;

Redeem a Gift Card for cash; or

Use a Gift Card to purchase another Gift Card.

Purchasing the Gift Card

Physical Gift Cards can be purchased at Prowess Design concept stores in United States (excludes concession stores in Myer and David Jones).

Value & Charges 

Gift Cards may be purchased at a minimum of $20 and a maximum of $500 per card. The purchase price of a Gift Card corresponds to the chosen value of the Gift Card.

Activation of the Gift Card

Gift Cards will have no value until they are activated.

When a physical Gift Card purchase is made at a Prowess Design store, the Gift Card will be activated immediately by a Prowess Design team member at the point of sale.

On activation the Gift Card is available for use. There is a PIN code allocated to each Gift Card. The PIN code is solely for security purposes, for checking the current balance and loss or theft registration (see below).


Physical Gift Cards issued after March 31st, 2018 are valid for three years from date of issue (featured on the Gift Voucher).

Any unused balance remaining on a Gift Card upon expiry shall be forfeited and will not be refunded or credited to you.

Loss of Theft

The Gift Card should be kept safe at all times and stored with the same care and attention as cash. Prowess Design shall not be responsible to you for any damage to a Gift Card or any unauthorised use, loss or theft of a Gift Card.


Prowess Design reserves the right to cancel any Gift Card, or the Gift Card program for any reason at any time without notice. Upon cancellation by Prowess Design, the balance on all unexpired Gift Cards will be refunded upon presentation of the Gift Card to a Prowess Design store.


Governing law: The purchase of a Gift Card from an American Prowess Design store, will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.

Privacy: Purchase of a Gift Card does entail registration of personal data, i.e. name and address of the beneficiary and credit card details of the purchaser. Prowess Design is committed to preserving the privacy of its customers as detailed in the Prowess Design Privacy Policy as set out on the Website. Force majeure: Prowess Design shall not be liable to you for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms if the cause of such delay or failure is beyond Prowess Design’s reasonable control. Problem: If you require assistance or have a problem with your Gift Card you should contact Prowess Design through its Website.

Amendments to Terms: Prowess Design may amend these Terms from time to time at its discretion. Any amendments to these Terms will be effective upon publication on the Website.


In these Terms, the following words have the following meanings:

“Business Day” means Monday to Friday and excluding public holidays;

“Gift Card” means a physical gift card issued by Prowess Design;

“Terms” means these terms as amended from time to time;

“American Website” means the website accessed via

“you” means the purchaser of the Gift Card and any holder of the Gift Card for the time being.
